You decide whether to file, you review every claim, and you submit it yourself on the official administrator's site. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of your submissions, including any attestation of eligibility, which may be made under penalty of perjury.
No guarantee of eligibility or payment
Eligibility, deadlines, and amounts are determined by settlement administrators and courts, not by Dibs. We make no guarantee that a settlement is open, that you qualify, that your claim will be accepted, or that you will receive any amount. Estimated payouts are illustrative and not promises.
Third-party settlements and accuracy
Settlements are administered by independent third parties. We work to keep listings accurate and verified against official records, but information can change or contain errors. Always confirm details on the official administrator's website before acting.
How we make money
Dibs is free to use and never takes a cut of your settlement. We may earn a referral fee from a participating law firm or partner, but only for users who choose to be connected, and an optional Pro subscription may offer paid convenience features. This does not change the information we show you or our commitment to surface only settlements you could genuinely qualify for.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dibs is not liable for missed deadlines, rejected claims, lost payouts, or amounts not recovered. See our Terms of Service for the full limitation of liability.
